Inotech Biosystems is the U.S. representative company of Inotech AG, a Swiss bioscience company that has been providing solutions to research challenges in the fields of Cell Biology, Immunology, and Molecular Biology for over 20 years. Initially established in Lansing, Michigan, Inotech Biosystems International relocated to Rockville, Maryland in November 1997.
Inotech Biosystems sells biomedical research equipment and reagents developed and produced by the Swiss parent company. The products are unique and produced with the traditional Swiss precision and reliability in both design and manufacturing. Please click on the Products section for a partial listing of our products.
As to the future, please also click on the "Whats New" section for an overview of our latest instrument, the Encapsulator, the first commercially available instrument for the polymer microencapsulation of metazoan cells, microbes, and other biologicals. Promising research incorporating microencapsulation of is underway, including the first clinical trial of an engineered, encapsulated cell being used in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. Inotech is proud to be a key player in this rapidly developing field.
