The Valve Block
The color-coded valve block of the Standard Harvesting System is manually operated. Two separate aspiration valves allow for separation of the initial radioactive waste from the subsequent washes. Thus, radioactive liquid waste is minimal and disposal costs are low. An additional wash valve may be included to incorporate washes from a variety of buffer reservoirs.
